Today is the day that comes before tomorrow!

Feeling pilosophical this morning... hahaha its almost lunch! I slept in for the first time in over two years. No dogs. No kids screaming. No drama. I love it! You should always have an escape from life and mine happened to be Sissy Steph. I know that everyone is jealous and wishes that they were here with us. I am making the trek back to CS in a few hours and am dreading driving in traffic. 6 days until we get to see J. I have TONS of homework to do and enough projects to get started to drive anyone crazy.

Dedication is a decision....

I will have you know JmeJ that I am sitting on Steph's couch reading all of your blogs and feeling down for not having the dedication that you do. Steph says hello to everyone! I saw some amazingly cute pics today of J and I from YEARS back and they are just to die for... he is every bit as handsome as I remembered. I will stop before Sarah gets nauseous on me.
School is going great, potty training with Madi is another story. It is going to be a very interesting trip to Arkansas next week with a mini who has to potty at every turn. I am looking forward to seeing/ meeting everyone.
Steph and I are going to hang out tonight and recap on old stories and even older pictures.... Good memories!

week one

as of new year: quit smoking (I know it was a gross habit)
Monday: accepted into SHSU (Go Bearkats!)
Tuesday: becoming a successful single mom!
Wednesday: new employee of Garpez! (yay for my bank account)
Thursday: learn that I get to have a "special visitor" in just 4 days
Friday: ???????

I think we are off to a pretty good start this year. No complaints. I think Madison can see ghosts, or at least tells me every morning around 2 am that she can... super creepy! Her J is helping her to get past the scared issue so we will see how that goes. I have the most amazing weekend/ week approaching. I get the amazing privilege of seeing MY J. for a whole 12 hours....lol It may even be a little longer than that. As my mother said, "So, your gonna drive 6 hours to see him for 12?" YES and I would drive it more often (awwww, i know your reading this love). I hope everyone is doing well! Think I'm gonna play the lottery tomorrow!

2010

What does 2010 mean to us? It is full of fresh starts and new adventures. Madison and I are looking to learn how to stand on our own four feet.

Madison has now taken on the task of the potty. This adventure has come with much needed guidance from her J. She started the new year off fighting allergies from her first EVER mommy and me vacation. We had a wonderful time, as you can see from the beach pictures. She adores her Mrs. Stephanie and Mr. Tommy, and of course her J. She screamed the ABC's at me the entire trip home after we stopped off in Lake Charles to visit Nana at the casino. Such a tough life the little one leads. I hope she is looking forward to seeing her friends at school tomorrow.

I feel like I am starting from scratch at the beginning of a new year. I am anticipating starting SHSU in a few weeks, as well as working on the ever covited, never aquired, mom of the year status. Madison is doing everything possible to keep me on my toes. I have decided to start letting the dogs sleep out of kennels, and they are soooo cute laying half in and half out not quite sure why the door is open. :)

I am going to try to update as much as possible with new pics when available.

Trying this out

I thought I would try to add one more thing to my crazy to do list and keep a blog. I am not making any promises, but will see how this goes.
